Our ranking system assigns one point for each plant-based ingredient contained in a dish i.e. fruits, vegetables & fresh herbs, legumes, grains, nuts and seeds. Spices & dried herbs carry ¼ of a point each. The total points can then be used to provide an indication of the nutritional diversity of a dish.
